“If your brand were a person, what would he/she be like?” It might be a bit cliché at this point, but it’s a smart way to think about brand and it’s personality.
Once you’ve pictured the kind of person your brand would be and listed off a few attributes they have, it’s helpful to boil down your brand’s personality into a single statement.
Knowing and listing those attributes will help you understand and determine what you want your brand to look like and what your brand stand to offer the masses !!
Most a-times we start by choosing logo or brand colors which also equally important but the most important element of your brand is the Unique Selling Proposition!!
You need to be able to say in a single statement what you stand to offer or what a potential client will benefit from patronizing your brand !! And that will lead us to the USP!!
✔️A unique selling proposition (USP) refers to the unique benefit exhibited by YOU or YOUR BRAND or YOUR ORGANISATION( remember organization Here is your team not the company you are promoting )
✔️A particular , service, value or benefit that enables you to stand out from competitors.
✔️The unique selling proposition must be a feature that highlights benefits that are meaningful to potential customers .
✔️The proposition must be one the competition cannot or does not offer. It must be unique to you !!
✔️The proposition must be strong enough to move the masses, i.e., attract new customers as well as potential customers.
As network marketers you are thorn between the company you promote or the brand YOU!! Especially if your company has a strong brand presence and it’s very easy to quickly associate with the brand !!
In as much as you want to promote the products and benefit of the company you are promoting !! Brand You is extremely important because People will join YOU and not the company you are promoting !!
So your Brand You and the USP will stand you out among your others!!
Imaging you saying I offer time freedom and financial freedom!! First you need to sit down and craft a unique proposition that only you can offer !! That your competitors are not offering !!
What you should do!! Follow this steps:
Step 1: Describe Your Target Audience
Step 2: Explain the Problem You Solve
Step 3: List the Biggest Distinctive Benefits
Step 4: Define Your Promise
Step 5: Combine and Rework
Step 6: Cut it Down! Condense and craft it into a statement !!
I strongly believe that with these 6 steps you should come up with something unique to you and you alone !! That will be your leading statement either prospecting or trying to introduce yourself !!
